Scientific Method: Gather Data
This slide was added to the January 2008 slideshow.
The Pretense Begins
Richard Gage uses this slide to have you believe that you are now gathering data to build a hypothesis about how the three WTC buildings fell. This is not true. He has his hypothesis. He is now presenting his cherry-picked data that fits into his preconcieved notion of what happened.
This is not a scientific inquiry at all. Gage has not relied on the expertise of demolition explosives to build his lists of characteristic features. The lists are only those points he thinks he can prove. When he cannot prove a particular point, he alters the lists.
This is not "altering a hypothesis." The hypothesis he presents remains the same -- that the WTC Buildings exhibit ALL the features of a controlled demolition. However, that ALL changes as to whether Gage can prove it exists in the collapses. The basis for inclusion on this list is not a survey of controlled demolitions by experts but whether Gage can prove the feature exists in the collapses. This is not science. This is conspiracy thinking at its most insidious.
