Slide #16 - Orientation to Building 7
Why No Orderly Progression?
Richard Gage has laid out his various points quite nicely on his previous slide and handout. But if you compare that to the order of topics on this orientation slide, you find that Gage is hopping around from point to point. You check each point off the handout (because it is so handily reproduced on each slide, you know which one to check). Here and there Gage takes you, from one dizzying point to the next. At the end, your handout is all checked off and Gage has proven controlled demolition, right?
Wrong. For the life of me, I can't think of another reason to do this but bamboozlement. This darting back and forth reminds me of someone running a 3-card monte game. And here I thought he was trying to wake us up from a hypnotic trance, not induce one!
