The actual collapse sequence may be a lot longer. The NIST Interim Report on Building 7 started the count when the east mechanical penthouse began to drop. However, I've seen something somewhere that shows a countdown starting well before this, based on certain visual information. I know, I know, produce! I'm trying to remember where I saw this, and I'll bring it back when I stumble across it again.
