Gage's real argument for thermite is later, and this teaser barely touches the subject of 7 World Trade.

His argument is once again shown to be absurd.

Slide #55 - "Molten Metal" Orientation

This slide is an outline slide.

Product of Thermite

The notion that thermite was used to demolish these buildings is one of the most scientific-sounding pieces to Gage's presentation. Gage will soon be flashing around scientific-looking charts and using chemical notations. We will see pictures of metal and the number of things that Steven Jones, a former physics professor at BYU, did to or had done to these pieces of metal.

Thermite, then, will be presented as the only explanation for all of this scientific-sounding stuff. Many more exist but Jones and Gage will not explore them at all.

However, not a lot of this evidence will be presented at this point of the presentation. The meat of the thermite presentation is reserved for later, and as such, it will be debunked later.

For now, Gage is content to give us a teaser of this upcoming argument.

The problem with presenting more here is that there is no more. The only evidence of molten metal at WTC 7 are reports from under the debris pile, days after the building had fallen. Gage will spend four slides that barely mention 7 World Trade at all.

However, conditions inside the building before and as it collapsed cannot be determined from conditions under the debris pile days after the building fell. It's really that simple.

How is "Molten Metal" A Feature of Controlled Demolition?

This is another example of how Gage custom-built this "characteristic features of controlled demolition" list from things he believes he sees at WTC 7. What other controlled demolition exhibits features of molten metal?

I have yet to see an example of this. If the WTC buildings exhibit signs of molten metal, then this distinguishes them from controlled demolitions. It does not make them similar to controlled demolitions.

The same goes for thermite used as a cutter charge in a demolition. Never before or since has this happened. Several thermite charges have been proposed, but none seem to have ever proven practical for actual controlled demolition purposes. I invite Gage and his organization to submit any other example of thermite being used to knock down a building.

The State of Gage's Argument

Richard Gage has not done a credible job of proving a single point of his presentation yet. This attempt to prove his ninth point will fall short, as I'll demonstrate.

The main thing to understand at this point is worth repeating: Conditions under the debris pile don't tell us anything about conditions before the collapse.

We're going to have to invent a new term for a Texas sharpshooter with this bad an aim.
